| Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycling 27th Annual Food Drive 09/17/2024 Bruce Area Solid Waste Recycling is celebrating their 27th year for their annual food drive running until September 20th. During this drive residents have been encouraged to place canned food items in untied plastic bags next to their blue boxes for collection as a way to give back. | Lunar Eclipse Telescope Gazing In Owen Sound Tonight 09/17/2024 Several local astronomers are gathering at the Owen Sound Kiwanis Soccer Complex tonight to observe a partial lunar eclipse. Well-known local astronomer and educator John Hlynialuk has assembled a group of telescope owners to share views of the eclipse to the public.
