| Kincardine Chamber Celebrates Businesses at Annual Awards 10/11/2024 The Kincardine Chamber of Commerce celebrating local buisnesses last night at the Ainsdale Golf Course for the Community Achievement Awards. The awards serve as a staple to celebrate the community with the public nominating businesses, not for profits and individuals in a list of categories. Tammy Schneider, Executive Director for the Kincardine & District Chamber of Commerce says overall the evening was a success of recognizing local businesses and their efforts.... | Bruce County Gets First Look At Proposed 2025 Budget 10/11/2024 In a special meeting on Thursday, the proposed budget was presented, and described as a review of social and economic prosperity. The call for such a review was put forward by the Association of Municipalities of Ontario. Highlights of the draft budget include showing a 6.81% increase in the tax rate, with 4.04% going toward maintaining existing services, and the remaining 2.77% for new initiatives and assets....
