| Bruce Power Doubling Production of Cancer Fighting Isotopes 10/24/2024 Bruce Power, Saugeen Ojibway Nation, Isogen and ITEM are doubling down on production of cancer fighting medial isotopes. Commercial production of lutetium-177 began last week on a second production line of the Isotope Production System on Bruce Powers Unit 7 which will now double their production capabilities. | Live Fire Military Exercises At Meaford Base This Weekend 10/24/2024 Starting Friday, there will be live fire military exercises going on at the 4th Canadian Division Training Centre (4 CDTC) in Meaford.... A release from the Canadian Armed Forces says noise from ranges at the training centre may be heard between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10:59 p.m. daily. Noise may be heard from weapons and large-calibre guns firing simultaneously. | Cemetery Survey Looking Into Estate Niches 10/24/2024 The Municipality of Kincardine wants to hear from residents for a quick survey around a pilot project at the cemetery. Kincardine is looking to the project where estate niches ma y be available as a memorial option. These would be an alternative to the tower columbarium options which is already available. An estate niche is a memorial place for cremated remains which are considered an alternative to purchasing full burial plots to be used for the burial of ashes....
